French Paste with Turquoise Cuff Bracelet

This one of a kind Sterling Silver cuff bracelet features antique nineteenth century French paste fleurette's in a row meticulously framed on either side with six 6 mm natural Royston turquoise cabochons. Each slightly high dome turquoise cabochon is individually hand set and mounted. Creating an exquisite foundation for this wonderful Bohemian bracelet is the 7/8" wide finely tooled floral patterned silver - distinctively ours.

In 1724, French jewel designer Georges Frédéric Strass came up with “paste,” a kind of leaded glass that he cut and polished with metal powder until it appeared to shimmer like a diamond in the light. Fine French paste is crafted into jewelry with the same precision and care as fine jewels, and highly sought after by today's antique jewelry collectors.
