Artist and designer Jill Garber 
has spent her life imagining beauty and creating it with her hands.
     A curator of elegance and collector of iconic historical antiquities, artist Jill Garber’s true spirit wells from a spring among rocks of human dignity which is overflowing with contemplation, self-awareness, with a heightened respect for an authority greater than mankind.

     Her choice to emphasize our spiritual existence flourishes within her exquisite collection of one-of-a-kind jewelry and wearable art hewn from rare treasures that are divinely crafted by a multitude of cultures throughout the world. With meticulous attention to detail and care, Jill blends magnificence from history into an unmistakable romance that she weaves through precious treasures and into a backdrop of her beloved Western elements. What becomes a soulful tapestry of opulence transcends superficial cultural differences, age, gender, and outdated style rules. 
                                                                      
     With free-spirited genius, Jill composes new chapters for classical artifacts, curating a wondrous stage on which protagonists speak alongside freshly-appointed antagonists assembled from unexpected - yet - complimentary time periods. Without obscuring historical authenticity, the resplendence of her creations entreat wearers to simply surrender to the wonder of a visual narrative as it echoes of grandeur - illuminating the gentility of mankind. 
                                                                      
      Having established her dream to create jewelry early in life, Jill apprenticed with Danish silversmith Ejner Rasmussen in Sarasota Florida while still in High school. This was her structural foundation. Wisdom Collection jewelry embodies the very definition of her brilliance, through thoughtfully engineered and often intricate designs that are inspired by the early European jewelers admires.  Each piece imagined and rendered to paper, is then formed with the disciplined workmanship she has been taught. From beginning to end her love of craft and great patience pours into every necklace, cuff, earring and ring as it comes alive on the silversmiths bench. 
                                                                        
      Her bold sterling silver cuffs provide center stage for ultra feminine, hand carved nineteenth century Venetian cameos that depict stories of legends, angelic spirits and goddesses. Diminutive portraits on porcelain, sacred engraved medals and intricate micro mosaics are seamlessly united with bold tones of turquoise, garnet, amethyst and other natural gems, comprising Jill's unmistakable collection.

     From creating hand made clothing out of recycled remnants of silk, velvet, lace and embroideries for herself and friends to wear to concerts during the 1960's - this passion ultimately led Jill to Parsons School of Design in New York where she was a Dean's list student in Fashion Design and Fashion Illustration. 
                                                                        
      Colorful hand embroidered Canton Trade Shawls, silk velvet and intricate needle lace weave flirtatious textures into her couture dresses, jackets and dusters. She creates her own original patterns, and cuts every single garment and finishes it herself. With her love for sterling silver, gilded French Paste, enamel work and mother of pearl - Jill recycles coveted Art Nouveau, Edwardian and Victorian period buckles, figural purse frames and chatelaines which are lovingly restored and reconstructed into glorious, usable accessories, now structurally appropriate for use in the 21 st. century.
                                                                        
      From New York to Los Angeles, California where Jill settled and became a Licensing Home Furnishings designer for many years, launching her beautiful collection of prints and products thus establishing her original brand Jill Garber Design, which has been distributed and sold through out the world.
