Jill has transformed a pair of fine nineteenth-century English horse-head intaglios into a remarkable set of drop earrings. Inspired by the traditional floral wreaths draped over Derby champions, she has created an opulent surround of robin’s-egg-blue Kingman turquoise encircling each sterling-silver horseshoe. Designed with a graceful self-wire, these earrings hang comfortably and beautifully near the earlobe.
